At United, we believe that safety is the cornerstone of everything we do. Our corporate medical internship offers you the chance to delve into team process improvement, policy & procedure effectiveness, and data analysis/insights within Corporate Medical, Employee Assistance Program and Drug Abatement to help drive health and safety throughout United.
Key Responsibilities:
The Corporate Medical intern will provide project support related to policy and procedure enhancements, data analysis and insights to drive team execution, operational process improvement and additional work as assigned by our Corporate Medical leaders. A mentor will be assigned to each individual for personalized assistance and development.
This position is a hybrid role including a combination of days worked in our Chicago office and remotely.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
* Current undergraduate student graduating in Dec. 2025 or Spring 2026, demonstrating strong academic performance
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future
* Track record of outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others
* Ability to apply quantitative skills and discernment to airline industry
* Position is based in Chicago, IL - must be able to relocate for internship duration
* Start dates in May or June 2025
* Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
* Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
Compensation and benefits information is outlined below. Please note, intern pay rate may differ based on student's class standing.

The starting rate for this role is $20.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
