Description

* Within the IT network connectivity area, we are looking for a dev-ops position to focus on network related topics.

* LAN/WAN connectivity for BMW sites in the Americas.

* Coordinator between regional stakeholders and vendors, under the guidance of the mentor.

* Assist with determining rollout schedule for timely delivery of new connectivity solutions.

The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

* Coordinate delivery of WAN connectivity at BMW locations in the Americas

* Establish communication with local and regional stakeholders

* Collaborate with local, regional and international colleagues as well as external partners for planning and rollout.

* Create and/or update documentation such as Confluence pages, Jira projects, network diagrams etc.

* Coordinate rollout of new SD-WAN solutions at BMW locations in the Americas.

* Documentation of new WAN connectivity for each location.

Qualifications

* Network experience or training, especially with LAN and WAN networks.

* Dev-ops tools and process experience

* Communication and teamwork skills.

* Familiarity with Agile / scrum tools such as Confluence/Jira.

* Technical documentation of solutions.

* Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)

* Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

* Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.

* Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).

* Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

* MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

* Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

* THE WORK TERM DATES ARE August 11th-December 12th, 2025.
