Your role

Symrise Granada SAU is seeking Fragrance Evaluation Trainee to gain first-hand experience by working closely with our Fragrance Development Team. Your main missions will be:
1. Supporting Fragrance Project Management:
* Receive and interpret customer briefs.
* Preparing and participating in project evaluation sessions
* Participate in the selection and olfactory evaluation of the appropriate perfumes.
* Monitor and evaluate creative work
* Coordinate actions between the members of the project team in Spain and abroad.
* Organization of internal tests
* Convey the olfactory idea of the fragrance(s) to the relevant contacts.

2. Supporting Fragrance Library Management:
* Introduction to project management - Fragrance Library
* Management of the collection, commercial description of perfumes.
* Participate in the enrichment of the fragrance library

3. Supporting in the Analysis of Market Trends, in collaboration with Marketing:
* Processing incoming market products
* Organizing market sample fragrance evaluation sessions
* Following up on evaluation sessions: recording information, database updating, preparing olfactory mappings and other related documents for distribution within the company
Your profile

As part of your master's degree in Fragrance Management at a Perfumery school, you are looking for a 6-month end-of-study internship in creation/evaluation.
Qualifications :
* Strong interest and knowledge in Perfume culture (key dates, genealogy of raw materials, archetypes, etc.)
* Knowledge of key market products, brands, and olfactory trends
* Excellent olfactory skills
* Computer literate
* Good time management for working on multiple projects
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Takes initiative and pay attention to detail
* Fluent in English; Spanish a plus (spoken, written)

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in the world of fragrances and olfaction, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and manage time and multiple projects efficiently.
