Job Purpose
The ICE Internship Program offers a dynamic experience that combines on-the-job training with exciting team projects, community outreach, social events, and professional development sessions. You'll have the chance to build meaningful professional relationships and sharpen your interpersonal skills, all while making an impact.
The Risk Management Intern will work on projects such as enhancing risk reporting, reviewing and improving risk models, updating data quality assurance and/or improving controls designed to mitigat operational risk.
Responsibilities
* Support risk management ensuring the clearing house is operating to established risk management limits
* Intraday risk monitoring and margin calls
* Assist model parameter calibration according to the relevant model documentation
* Conduct ad-hoc statistical analysis (e.g., time series, statistical inference)
* Monitor and update on key market development, fundamentals, and events
* Daily model performance reviews
* Monitor concentration and liquidity risk in the portfolio
* Assess risks based on stressed event
* Support onboarding of new products
* Contribute individually or as a team member to support functional areas, analyze business processes, and achieve assigned by an experienced manager
* Engage with business partners and contribute to projects that drive significant value
* Perform other related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience
* Applicant must be studying in their penultimate year of a bachelor's degree, majoring in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or related discipline
* Ability to read and write code (SQL, Python, C++, Matlab, etc.) is preferred
* Proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
* Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills
* Possesses effective computer skills, with a solid working knowledge of MS Office

Summer Internship Program Schedule
Internships start on 16 June 2025 and run until 5 September 2025. Interns should be available to work full-time, 5 days a week, at our London office
