Job Summary

We are looking for an Intern to join our Banks and Broker Dealers (BBD) team in Paris to support our Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) business. We are seeking a candidate who can support us on-site for a duration of six months and is available from March 2025.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing financial analysis of covered clients, credit papers and calculation of deals' profitability
* Assisting in timely review of Know Your Customer documents
* Providing support in the Investment Banking products (capital markets, structured finance, transactional banking)
* Preparing and coordinating pitches and marketing presentations for Financial Institutions and clients on various subjects
* Preparing client notes ahead of meetings to the bankers
* Supporting the development of client relationships in relation with Standard Chartered network (mainly in Asia, Africa & Middle East)
* Interacting with various team across our footprint

Skills and experience

* Student BAC+4/5 in finance, economics, business or engineering from a business school or university with an excellent academic track record - student status in mandatory
* Financial background, analytical capabilities
* Sound knowledge of MS office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) and macro/coding capabilities
* Dynamic, quick-thinking and a good eye for detail
* Fluency in English and French is mandatory
