Job Description:

* Collection of samples from customers in a timely, efficient and customer friendly manner.
* Sampling from farms, fields. lakes, rivers, man holes and composite samplers.
* To maintain the company vehicle at a suitable standard including cleanliness, appearance, tyres, oil and overall maintenance.
* Ensure that all customer samples are identified and kept in a suitable fashion and temperature controlled during transit.
* Daily planning of your route so you arrive to the lab on time.
* Ensure that all customer samples delivered to Lab reception and all paper work is in order.
* Be aware of, and communicate to laboratory managers, any issues that might affect customers.
* It is the responsibility of this person to drive within all legal requirements and any endorsements received outside the legal requirements will be the responsibility of the driver themselves.
* As with all members of staff this person is responsible for ensuring that customers' requirements are fully met and in so doing will be flexible to work in any area of the business as is required.

Qualifications:

* Level 5 or equivalent of: Teagasc Green Cert Programme
* Level 6 or 7 qualified preferable
* A driving license with no previous endorsements is preferred
* Previous experience of delivery and / or sampling preferred
