Process Engineering Intern

We are seeking an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or Master-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering or related field, for a 10-Week Student Intern role in Durham, NC for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:
* Engage in process modeling for capsule filling, contributing to developing an end-to-end AI-powered digital twin for inhaled biologics.
* Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings.
* Collect data and present project findings at the end of the internship period.

Position Requirements:
* Undergraduate sophomore, junior, or Master-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering or related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
* Relevant engineering coursework completed.
* An interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Software exposure to Aspen Plus or GProms.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
* Applicants must have work authorization that does not, now or in the future, require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status).
* Ability to report onsite to Durham, NC five days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
* Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
