Description du poste:

Join our Team

About this opportunity:
At the Radio Architecture and Integration Research group within Ericsson in Lund, we design Integrated Circuits (IC) solutions for 5G and 6G. CMOS design integration is a key enabler for future base stations and features such as programmable broadband radio frequency delay in the signal path is considered a key technology. However, limitations in obtainable delays in miniaturized, low loss and low power integrated solutions are a bottleneck and an opportunity of research
What you will do:

In this thesis, the candidates will work with cutting-edge technologies to develop IC solutions and have a unique opportunity to address both RF and mixed signal challenges. The goal is to simulate and compare solutions of key analog/mixed signal blocks as enablers of a nested time-interleaved architecture working at above 6GHz input frequency, SNDR> 60dB, power consumption

· T/H bootstrapped switches with equivalent tracking time below 60ps and linear input and output buffers up to 15GHz
· Dividers and clock phase generators for on chip skew control and phase programmability.

You will document and present the results to the research team. You will be coached into IC design by experts in the field, all PhDs, and you will have the opportunity to try your own ideas in a friendly and innovative environment.

The skills you bring:

To be successful for this position you need to fulfill the following:

· Final year master's student in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer science and engineering or similar (Finished courses in analog IC design and RFIC design).
· Genuine interest in RFIC/ mixed-signal IC design and good knowledge of IC design tools (Cadence) and Matlab.
· Capable of individual work towards decided tasks on time.
· Great team player and active contributor in brainstorming sessions with experts and colleagues.
· Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication

Ericsson celebrates diversity and encourages applicants of all genders and nationalities.

Extent: 2 students, 30hp each
