An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning Personal Lines Underwriting (PLU) function as a Retail Motor Pricing Manager. A bit about the job:
The Retail Motor Pricing Manager will assist in the development of market-leading pricing capability of Retail Motor, reporting into the Retail Pricing Lead. You will be responsible for the end-to-end street pricing of your channel, which will require you to adapt to changing market conditions and the advancements in technical capabilities available to you. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Personal Lines business to influence our strategy and deliver outcomes that fulfil our ambitious business objectives.
You will lead a team of Pricing Analysts and you will play an active role in shaping their development. You will encourage your team to develop a diverse range of skills, and you will bring focus to a broad range of indicators, to deliver frequent, effective, and innovative actions using a combination of data, commercialism, experience, and judgement.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Extensive experience in Pricing is critical and ideally within Motor or Home insurance
* Ability to lead and prioritise workload with business objectives and lead others with focus on people development/building capability
* Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to identify and transform customer requirements into an effective pricing strategy
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence decision-makers

* Starting salary between £45,000 and £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
