What you'll be doing:Are you an experienced accountant looking to take your career to the next level? Avon is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intercompany Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key responsibilities:
Intercompany Transaction Management:
* Record, reconcile, and settle intercompany (IC) transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
* Ensure all IC charges, recharges, and allocations are properly documented and processed.
* Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual IC reconciliations to ensure balances are correctly stated.

Compliance:
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and accounting standards related to intercompany activities.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all IC activities, including schedules and contracts.
* Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes, providing explanations and analyses of changes in IC balances.

Collaboration and Communication:
* Collaborate with various teams including RTR & PTP COE, FP&A, Tax, and Legal to resolve IC issues and ensure alignment.
* Act as a point of contact for IC queries and escalations, providing support to the Consolidation team.

Continuous Improvement:
* Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance IC accounting processes.
* Assist in adjusting automation tools (IC Workflow) and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Participate in IC process improvement projects and initiatives within the Center of Excellence (COE).

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in intercompany accounting or a similar finance role.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
