If so, then we'd like you to join our team as an AMDP Profit Center Manager. \n\n\n \n\n\nAbout the Role: \n\n\n\n You will: \n\n\n\n\nPlan, direct, and lead all business operations at the Profit Center. This role is accountable for sustaining consistent profitability of the business. \n\nAchieve sales, gross profit and profit sharing goals through the recruitment, development, training, coaching, evaluation, and management of the Profit Center team.\n\nDetermine targeted customer account potential, establish sales goals for those accounts, and hold salespeople accountable for achieving those goals.\n\nAchieve upper quartile performance in these key indicators - Gross Profit %, Net Salaries Ratio, Occupancy Ratio, Return on Investment, Gross Profit per Employee, and Profit Sharing per Employee.\n\nAnalyze available financial reports and information, implementing appropriate strategies to increase sales and margins, improve productivity, and manage expenses and assets.\n\nEnsure the Profit Center meets or exceeds customer service expectations.\n\nBuild relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share, and identify new markets.\n\nConduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.\n\nMaintain and insist upon a safe working environment in accordance with Company policy and procedures.\n\nSafeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets - buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables.\n\nSuccessfully other duties as assigned by management.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned by management.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nAbout You: \n\n\n\n\n\nCollege degree or equivalent industry experience\n\n3 or more years of wholesale distribution experience\n\n\n\n1 or more years of leadership experience\n\nAble to drive for company business. As a company business driver, you must:\n\n\n\n\nBe at least 18 years old\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPossess a proper and valid driver's license\n\nHave a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nOur ideal candidate will also: \n\n\n\n\nPossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity.\n\nPossess excellent people skills, sound business judgment, and the capacity for continued growth and contributions to the Company.\n\nCreate and nurture a positive team environment, inspiring all teammates to do their best work to achieve the highest levels of customer and employee satisfaction.\n\nBe able to build positive, influential relationships with customers and vendors.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBe able to interpret financial report data to determine success/failure of plans and to take appropriate action to adjust business plans ensuring success.\n\nBe able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations.\n\nBe able to read, write, speak and understand English.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEffectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain appointments and customer and vendor contact files, and to analyze performance data.\n\nHave product knowledge related to the specific Profit Center market \n\n\n\n
