Your Tasks
As the Global Regulatory Affairs and Packaging Compliance Manager, you will oversee compliance for materials and packaging for (COMPANY NAME) products (excluding medical devices). Your role will involve foresight regulatory risk management, regulatory strategy development, and providing expert guidance to business units on new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Risk Management:
Proactively identify and assess global regulatory risks and opportunities.
* Strategy Development:
Create and implement regulatory strategies that align with business goals and emerging packaging technologies.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Legal, Packaging, R&D, and Sustainability teams to ensure compliance with all regulations.
* Regulatory Compliance Program Leadership:
Design and execute a comprehensive regulatory compliance program, including policy management and training.
* Industry Engagement:
Lead a Packaging Compliance network and collaborate with industry associations to advocate for our interests.
Your Profile
Education & experience:
* Master's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or a related Natural Science field.
* Several years of professional experience in Global Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance/Legal/Packaging Development and proven experience in regulatory risk management and strategy development.
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of global regulations for packaging.
* Ability to monitor emerging packaging technologies and translate regulatory changes into business strategies.
Personal Attributes:
* Strategic thinker with foresight in identifying regulatory risks and opportunities.
* Detail-oriented and committed to high compliance standards.
* Collaborator with excellent communication skills and a passion for sustainability and supporting long-term goals.
Languages:
* Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are advantageous.
This position requires the willingness to travel for regulatory meetings and industry collaboration.
