Zurich's Complete-a-Bachelor's Apprenticeship is accepting applications for our January 2025 Cohort!

Our innovative Complete-a-Bachelor's Apprenticeship allows participants to simultaneously gain the education and the experience to launch a rewarding career in commercial insurance.

If you have two or more years of college coursework from an accredited U.S. college or university (an associate degree or rising junior) this is an exciting way to begin your career with a global industry leader and complete your degree tuition-free!

This two-year program combines coursework through University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC), an accredited online university affiliated with the University of Arizona, with relevant work experience and professional development at the Zurich North America Headquarters location in Schaumburg, IL. Apprentices who successfully complete this two-year program will:

* Work in a paid, benefit-eligible full-time position at Zurich

* Earn a tuition-free Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

* Receive a Department of Labor Certificate of Apprenticeship

* Be promoted into their next role at Zurich

Zurich North America is offering Complete-a-Bachelor's Apprenticeship opportunities in Claims within our TPA Operations team.

As an apprentice at Zurich, you will work and learn alongside professionals and mentors while performing assigned tasks, contributing to team projects and initiatives, and providing support to colleagues. Responsibilities for this role will include:

* Build relationships with assigned TPA's

* Complete regulatory requirements and reporting as it pertains to TPA's

* Complete a series of tasks to onboard new TPA's in collaboration with internal business units

* Complete regulatory requirements, reporting and processing data submitted by TPAs

In addition, responsibilities that are team specific, this role is responsible for the accurate interfacing of detailed claim and financial data from Third Party Administrators (TPAs) handling unbundled Zurich claims to the required Zurich systems. Utilize insurance, financial, regulatory, and technical knowledge to analyze and validate data and identify and monitor trends to assure data quality and adherence to our process and procedural control framework. Our apprentices work and learn under immediate supervision, alongside professionals and mentors.

Basic Qualifications:

* Associate Degree in Business Administration or rising Junior with two years of coursework in Business Administration and no prior experience. Contingent on admittance into University of Arizona Global Campus Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration program.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong verbal and communication skills

* Experience with Microsoft Office

* 2 or more years of work experience and/or leadership role in student activities or community service activities

* Intermediate computer skills, especially Excel

* Self-motivated and able to work independently

* Ability to multitask and adapt to a changing environment

* Problem solving skills
