In order to support the services business growth, Wabtec is looking for a services buyer for our site in Piossasco. The main missions will be: * Support the sourcing team to improve the project margin by negotiating Terms and conditions with the suppliers (quality, prices, deliveries,…). * Define the appropriate sourcing plan for assigned projects / Frame agreements. * Improve spend competitiveness in standard product * Being the interface for Engineering, projects, quality and suppliers in the organization. * Participate to the make or buy strategy. ACTIVITIES You will provide support to the services sourcing manager and have as main responsibilities : Business: * Get a global vision of the products and activities of the services group * Know the products and technologies used in sourcing. * Participate to the construction of quotations for customers. * Transmit to the product manager and Engineering office the latest technologies and évolutions from the market. * Improve project contract margin through sourcing: RFQ, Supplier selection, contracting, supplier management in project, savings opportunities (Deflation), QCD risks, Re design to cost. * Guarantee from tender to Start Of serial Production on assigned projects: Supplier QCD, Purchasing Cost Control, fulfilment of Project needs * Set up standard product BOM within PL product portfolio and accountable for its evolution * Accountable for cost improvement plan for standard Products (regarding sourcing cross purchasing commodities) and coordinates activities to reach standard products material cost targets defined by the product management.* * * Drive savings plan by involving / challenging suppliers, commodity buyers, engineering and operations on technical levers: e.g. (re) design to cost, Make-or-buy Suppliers relationships: * Place request for quotation to the suppliers in coordination with the commodity buyers. * Negotiate the T&C's for the assigned projects (articles, toolings …) and manage associated frame agreements. * Transmit to suppliers forecast and business needs on the assigned projects. * Collect and promote ideas from suppliers to improve the product (VA/VE) approach. * Propose development plan for the services suppliers to the commodity buyer. * Execute and manage commodity strategy; * Manage supplier relationship and performance; Quality - Performance: * Being responsable for the quality of the products and suppliers for the assigned projects (TFC, APQP) with the support of the quality organization. * Being responsable for the sourcing performances on the assigned projects. * In the scope of his or her projects, organize and manage technical reviews with technology partners: Supplier Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain in order to formalize the Team Feasibility Commitment at supplier selection and guaranty the achievement of the Technical Specification * Manage the transition from project to production phase with Industrialization audit, * Participate proactively in improving the Group purchasing performance

Profil requis du candidat:

Skills: * Strategic & Analytic thinking * Problem solving, understanding & learning of products technical requirements * Ability to read design drawings (material, tolerances,…) and interest for technical discussions * English * Italian / Spanish as a plus. * Management of Microsoft office package.
