Founded in Madrid in 2009 by Javier Andrés, ticketea is the leading platform for self-managed events and ticket sales in Spain. Ticketea features four distribution channels for ticket distribution: its own web page for users wishing to discover all kinds of events, its white-label technology allowing organisers to sell tickets via their own website, a Facebook application for company pages, and finally, an advanced box office system offered via a free iPad app to sell general or numbered tickets at the event venue.
On top of these 4 distribution channels, ticketea has also created a free iOS and Android app for event access control.
