Trade Compliance Intern

Job Description

Trade Compliance is a wide area of Customs-related activities, consisting of International Law, Logistics, Vendor & Broker Management, and others. From build and deployment to local execution and continuous improvement. It ensures that all import and export transactions are in conformance with the laws and regulations of the countries involved.

Your role:
* Preparing for executing the declaration/correction procedure in time, in accordance with the customs legislations and requirements.
* Executing statistical customs and VAT reports.
* Helpdesk for internal customer inquiries
* Executing (updating) Customs table management
* Flagging possible problems and escalating when applicable

You're the right fit if:
* You are a student of at least 2nd year of Bachelor's studies  (preferably fields related to Business, Finance, Economics etc.)
* You are fluent in English (at least B2)  
* You express availability to work at least 30 hours a week 
* You are open to work in weekends (approx. 2 weekends/month)
* You have basic knowledge level of Excel and are tech-savvy
