Descriptive Role of Food & Beverage Service Internship
Interns in the F&B outlets, will provide a service to guests experiencing the restaurants, bars or pool areas. This includes activities such as serving meals, assisting with queries and providing correct information. Other duties include accepting and recording guest orders whilst at the same time assisting with any questions regarding food & beverage preparation; receiving and carrying out orders from supervisors; interacting in a courteous and professional manner with guests whilst adhering to the hotel standards. The most promising interns will also be entrusted with supervisory duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
* Currently following a Diploma /Degree in a Hospitality Management School or equivalent
* Positive attitude and passion for the hospitality industry
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Fluency in spoken English
* Ideally, interns need to be available for a minimum of four to five months, starting from May and covering until September or October.
Our Offer
* Selected interns will receive a gross monthly allowance of EUR835. 10% will be deducted as National Insurance.
* Interns can opt to stay in a shared room in the students' accommodation which is located on hotel grounds. Interns staying in the students' accommodation will have access to a common kitchen , living and laundry areas. The monthly cost for accommodation is EUR230
* Interns are also entitled to a daily meal when on duty
