As an intern, you'll have the chance to explore the vital role of finance in driving enterprise business processes. Throughout the program, you'll receive exposure to the field and valuable insights into potential career paths.
Please note that this role requires to be in office in Providence, Rhode Island for a minimum two full days per week for the duration of the program.
What you will be doing:
* Coordinate and contribute to each month-end close process.
* Prepare general ledger journal entries accurately and timely with documentation that clearly supports each entry.
* Complete balance sheet account reconciliations utilizing Blackline account reconciliation system by verifying completeness and accuracy of data and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
* Coordinate collection of government reporting data from divisions; consolidate as necessary and prepare report submissions.
How you can contribute:
* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting with a passion for learning.
* Ability to protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records, including personal and compensation information.
* Internship to begin in Fall 2023
