Descripción del puesto:

(COMPANY NAME) Application Security Management (ASM) allows customers to manage application security risk with continuous, real-time monitoring of vulnerabilities and threats against your web applications, serverless applications, and APIs, in production. Automatically integrated with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) distributed tracing and code-level context, Application Security Management empowers development, operations, and security teams to build and run secure applications in production.
(COMPANY NAME) security libraries are the building blocks of our application security products. These open-source libraries, one per language we support, automatically add security monitoring to our customer web applications, helping detect attacks and exploits.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to work on at least one open-source library. On top of working on the daily life of these open-source projects, you will be working on the development and integration of our security monitoring features, such as the detection of attacks or exploits, thanks to the "security engine" built inside the library. Engineers working in the library teams are seniors and experts in their languages.
At (COMPANY NAME), we place value in our office culture - the relationships that it builds, the creativity it brings to the table, and the collaboration of being together. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You'll Do:
* Oversee one or more of our open-source security libraries either in Ruby, Python or Go
* Managing a team of 3+ Engineers
* 50% hands on developing (in Ruby / Python / Go)
* Manage project delivery
* Contribute to library development
* Integrate new security monitoring features
* Help customers set up and use our products successfully
* Create the best automated solutions for our customers' needs

Who You Are:
* A Software Engineer at heart with previous experience leading software engineering teams, as a tech lead or people manager.
* Experience with software development in Go/Python/Ruby
* Understand different programming language constraints
* Accountable, proactive, pragmatic and know how to avoid overengineering
* You have a track record of delivering high-quality software products on schedule and collaborating closely with product partners.
* Nice to have: Agent or client libraries experience
* Nice to have: Open-source project development experience
(COMPANY NAME) values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:
* New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
* Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
* Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
* An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds ((COMPANY NAME) employee resource groups)
* Access to Inclusion Talks, our Internal panel discussions

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with (COMPANY NAME).
