Do you have a passion for events and food & beverage? Is hospitality in your blood? Do you have an eye for detail? Then the Amstel Hotel is looking for you! As a Banqueting Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating memorable events in our prestigious hotel.

A home to belong. And that has been this way for over 150 years. The first five-star hotel of Amsterdam opened her doors in 1867. Designed by Samuel Sarphati, it took exactly one year to build the hotel. From that moment forward, she has always been known for her rich history of genuine hospitality and royal service. Responsibilities
* Guest Services: Execute and conduct all banquet reservations, taking care of amenities to arrange exceptional hospitality experiences.
* Event Management: Lead and manage all banqueting events, ensuring high-quality luxury service for our guests.
* Team Leadership: Oversee the functioning of all banqueting department colleagues, ensuring effective relationships and maximum department profit.
* Staff Development: Under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager, perform functions such as hiring, orientation, coaching.
* Training: Develop formal training plans and provide on-the-job training for staff in the F&B department.
Requirements
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
* Hospitality Passion: Knowledge or passion for luxury and hospitality.
* Positive Attitude: Excellent communication skills and a positive approach.
* Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities.
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, with a preference for an additional language.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and ensure events run smoothly.
