The Role
The Procurement Officer is responsible for executing day-to-day procurement and contract administration activities of the program as per the set procedures, manuals, templates, and guidelines and will assist senior members of the team in implementing tasks related to the procurement of large value goods, works, and services.
Responsibilities:
* Support the process for selecting new suppliers;
* Compose quotes and make brief negotiations to ensure best price;
* Manage purchases and monitor stock level use;
* Negotiate term of agreements;
* Conduct new business contracts and manage suppliers payment;
* Ensures that all steps of the procedure has been followed;
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports;
* Inform suppliers and internal customers regarding the procurement process.

Requerimientos del candidato/a:
To be considered you should have:
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as a procurement professional;
* Good understanding of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices;
* Bachelor's degree in procurement business, economics, finance, or public administration;
* Proactive and fast learner, good team player;
* Fluency in English-reading, writing, and speaking;
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project.
Experience with ERP Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Teams is an advantage
