With the massive surge of electronic travel documents and national eID cards, (COMPANY NAME) Digital & Security global business unit is supporting border agencies, government authorities and airports to exploit technology convergence to gain consistent, comprehensive border, visa management and document verification worldwide, that will:
* Deliver seamless travel with border control applications.
* Offer convenience for travelers for fast and secure border crossing.
* Improve border intelligence for detection and prevention, including some of the most disruptive new technologies like biometrics, machine learning, or micro services.

As a Software Engineer in the R&D team, you will:
* Build: Design, develop, test and deploy .Net applications that solve real-world problems and delight users
* Collaborate and create: Team up with designers, product managers and other developers to brainstorm and implement new features.
* Innovate and Integrate: Work on projects that connect various devices and systems, bringing seamless solutions to live
* Enhance and Optimize: Make existing software better, faster, and more efficient, ensuring top performance
* Learn, Share and Grow: Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing. Cooperate to prepare guides and documentation for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Cooperate with Delivery and Field teams regarding troubleshooting and configuration of the solution.

Competences:
Technical skills:
* You graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science in University.
* You have at least 2-year experience as Software Engineer in .NET development. C#, .Net Core.
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
* Knowledge of integration tools and APIs. Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
* Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
* You have worked in Agile methodologies.

Soft skills:
* Language skills:
* You are not shy to speak in English (B2+) and Spanish.
* You have good written and spoken communication skills.
* Problem-solving: You like analysing problems and you have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
* Team spirit: You have a strong teamwork spirit. Eager to learn, share and participate.
* Curiosity: A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.

Other skills (advantage):
* Front-end: Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular is also a plus.
* Hardware skills: Familiarity with hardware components and their integration within software systems.
* DevOps Knowledge: Have experience with Server back-end technologies. Application Servers, Databases, Web servers.
* UI/UX Design: Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
* Security: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing software systems.
