Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Our R&D Engineering Team in Faurecia FCE Business Group is looking for you as NAO Engineering Assistant controller located in Northville Michigan, U.S.A. Finance or Accounting background/knowledge is important in this position to allow for assisting in many areas of the department.
The mission of the NAO Engineering assistant controller will cover -but not limited to- the following activities:
* Follow up of the Engineering hours booking status on a weekly basis and update the month-end landing of the FTEs compared to Forecasted Workload.
* Support month end accounting Journal entries and variances reporting preparation of Actuals vs Forecast and Budget including BG monthly Engineering GC review.
* Support the monthly IOM invoicing activity and make sure that the P4 invoices are correctly reflected in SAP.
* Use the reporting tools to retrieve the consolidated NAO engineering P&L and prepare the related analysis, support on the preparation of the monthly reporting documents required by the BG for Forecast and Budget.
* Update the YTD project GC status and communicate to Engineering Director
* Develops skillset in FCS (SAP), Magritte (Hyperion), and Excel to build ad-hoc analysis as needed.
* Other duties and special projects as assigned.
* Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level:
o Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting background/knowledge is required.
Experience:
Previous internship experience in Finance/ Accounting (preferred)
Skills & Competencies:

* Ability to resolve problems efficiently & effectively
* Good people skills, teamwork skills, and communication skills
* Experience with Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook
