Why do we need you ?

In the context of the growing Electric Vehicle market, our Chaineux plant, part of the Tape Solutions business unit of Saint-Gobain, is engaged in a major organizational and industrial transformation with the target to double its production capacity within the two upcoming years. You'll accompany the Purchasing Manager in the implementation of a purchasing strategy.
The main target will be to guarantee the supply of our production line and contribute to costs savings for the site.

As a VIE, to support these projects, you will:
* Be responsible for the execution of the purchasing process through the payment;
* Ensure the alignment, support and follow-up of logistical and operational activities in line with the demand;
* Manage and maintain all levels of purchasing data. Provide and share data analysis with internal stakeholders on goods and purchases;
* Actively collaborate with commercial purchasing and key stakeholders;
* Conduct tenders process according to the Capex plan of the site;
* Review and optimize the current purchasing processes in link with the site's evolving needs.

This is a 12-month mission, extendable once.

* You hold a Master's Degree in Purchasing or Supply chain
* You have a first experience in supply chain management
* You are responsive, customer-oriented and always on the lookout for solutions
* You demonstrate critical thinking, analytical and reasoning skills
* You can easily communicate in both French and English languages
* The knowledge of ERP software (QAD) would be a plus

The Purchasing and Supply Team is currently composed of 3 persons: the Team Manager, a Direct Buyer and an Indirect and Operational Buyer. The team is going through a transformation towards a wider Supply Chain scope and should cover additional upcoming Logistic challenges.

Steps to join us

* Then, you'll have a maximum of 2 interviews with the managing members of the site: the Purchasing Manager, the Plant Manager and the Site Human Resources Manager.
* If you are selected, you will receive confirmation by email and have an Onboarding Day at the Tour Saint-Gobain in Paris before your departure.
