Indirect Procurement Specialist

Location: Turkey, Gebze
Place of Work: Onsite

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for Managing Local and Global Supplier Relations, Overseeing Procurement Processes, and Maintaining Communication Processes through SAP. Additionally, you will conduct and gain knowledge of a wide range of procurement and supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities
The Indirect Procurement Specialist is accountable for ensuring effective procurement processes and alignment with company goals. Key responsibilities include:
* Identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with business requirements.
* Developing innovative solutions to achieve cost savings in procurement processes and continuously improving strategies to meet budgetary goals.
* Managing purchase orders, ensuring product quality and specifications and maintaining accurate documentation for compliance and reporting.
* Coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to forecast needs, address procurement challenges and align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
* Tracking the status of orders, evaluating supplier performance, and preparing regular reports to inform decision-making and support business strategies.
* This role requires proactive communication, problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure procurement goals are met efficiently and effectively.

You bring
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience of at least 3 years in procurement, vendor management and contract negotiation with a strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies.
* Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skill.
* Exceptional planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and complex environment.
* A proactive and curious approach to problem-solving, driving innovation by exploring new solutions and perspectives.
