The Quality & LEAN Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality and LEAN (incl. LEAN User Experience) practices within the KONE Business Services (KBS) organization. This role ensures that all KBS processes under KBS Bratislava location meet the required Quality standards particularly 9001:2015.
Furthermore, the role is responsible for driving LEAN and Continuous Improvement (CI) for KBS Bratislava to reduce waste, improve overall operational performance and user experience. This role will also be responsible for measuring and reporting on performance metrics related to Quality, LEAN, and ISO initiatives.
The role's priorities are estimated to be approximately 60% focused on LEAN & CI and 40% on Quality management.
Main responsibilities:
Quality Management:
* Promote and develop a strong quality culture within KBS by communicating the importance of quality and actively engaging the organization.
* Develop and maintain Quality assurance protocols and procedures.
* Analyze Quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Develop training programs to enhance Quality awareness across the Organization.
* Collaborate with Internal & Business units to address Quality issues.
* Responsible for Quality measurement system and Quality results reporting.
ISO 9001:2015 Activities:
* Implement and maintain ISO Quality management system (QMS)
* Conduct Internal & GMS audits and manage external LRQA audits.
* Document and manage QMS Processes, Procedures and Records.
* Lead and support any required corrective actions due to non-conformance.
LEAN Management:
* Develop and implement LEAN Strategies to drive operational efficiency, in line with KBS strategy.
* Train and mentor employees on LEAN Principles and tools, including LEAN User Experience.
* Monitor and report the progress of LEAN initiatives.
* Track financial impact and benefit realization of LEAN in Bratislava
Continuous Improvement:
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
* Identify opportunities for Process optimization and cost reduction.
* Implement best practices and standardize processes across processes.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvement projects.
What You Need to Succeed
* Proven experience in Quality management and LEAN implementation, ideally within a business services environment.
* Experienced LEAN Coach - Certificate is an advantage.
* Excellent facilitation, effective communication & persuasion skills.
* Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
* Strong Presentation, Project & Change management skills.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 standards and Quality assurance methodologies is an advantage.
* Knowledge and experience of operational process(es) and their continuous improvement through application of Six Sigma, LEAN & Kaizen.
* Collaboration and Networking skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, Power point, Minitab, Six sigma Magic tools, Visio).
* Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
