Wolters Kluwer is seeking a talented engineering manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing and improving industry-leading accounting software solutions.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead and manage our software development teams. In this role you will be responsible for optimizing team performance, ensuring high-quality deliverables and leading the team to success and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:
* Lead, mentor, and manage software engineering teams, ensuring clear goals and performance expectations are set.
* Develop and implement team objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.

Project Management:
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Focus on business success, Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.

Stakeholder Communication:
* Maintain regular communication with senior management, providing updates on project status, team performance, and potential risks.
* Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments, facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred skills:
* Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar by experience
* Proven experience managing onshore & offshore teams and remote collaborations.
* Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
