Job Description & Summary

Contribute to creating a better tomorrow
The only way we can tackle the challenges of this fast-changing world is with passionate people. Led by our purpose of building trust and solving important problems, we come together at PwC to address the biggest issues facing the world in a way that drives positive impact. Are you eager to join a team fuelled by open and curious minds? People who are passionate about their work and create new solutions for a new day? Then you're at the right place.

Bring your talent. Learn new skills. Make a positive impact.

Financial institutions are not only impacted by increasing regulatory requirements, but also by a greater focus on data (security, data governance, data privacy) and by risks originating from their changing strategies and technology-driven client services. The rapidly changing environment creates new risks, but also new opportunities. These risks and opportunities, next to the digital and workforce transformation, the rise of new technology, and the accrued need for client centricity require financial institutions to transform their businesses and work at the same time on their cost base and on their productivity agenda. Needless to say, in that context, understanding the agenda of top management of financial institutions is of utmost importance to deliver qualitative and value-added services.

Want to join a dynamic team of experts advising the big players of the FS (Financial Services) market in Belgium (and abroad)? Looking for an opportunity to work on various types of assignments, including providing advice and expertise on risk regulatory projects, helping clients implement new regulations from start to finish by assessing the impacts on the target operating model (governance, processes, people, systems, etc.), and creating value by looking beyond pure compliance? Want to help businesses navigate market challenges? Then join our Financial Services team, where you'll learn how our experts help the sector manage the evolution of their businesses and advise on their risk and regulatory agendas in a climate of rapid digitisation.

What you'll learn and do
* Work on various projects at large, medium-sized and smaller banks, insurance companies and payment institutions
* Work in a flexible pattern between your clients' offices, the PwC offices and home
* Learn about clients' businesses and internal control processes
* Learn about new regulations and understand their impact on the institution (governance, processes, organization, people and technology)
* Advise clients on their risk and regulatory agendas and help transform their businesses
* Be part of a team of consultants and help deliver client projects or work streams for larger transformation programmes (by designing new target operating models, working on optimizing and simplifying processes, implementing a culture of data-driven organization, using the technologies and innovative solutions, working on the workforce transformation in order to help your clients in reaching their cost and productivity goals).
* Discuss with your team to share ideas and keep learning and growing
* Respond to clients' needs by delivering high-quality services across various types of projects
* Develop a holistic approach to increase the level of trust, implement strategic decisions in a sustainable manner and enhance efficiency

Who you are, what you're like
* Master of (applied) economics, finance, civil engineering, business engineering (e.g. management information systems) or law, or another discipline with a relevant economic major, possibly via a second master or a PhD degree
* You'll graduate at the end of this academic year or have up to two years' experience
* A born team player who likes to take the initiative
* A critical, analytical mind
* Client-oriented, and an outstanding communicator
* Keen to keep learning and developing with a view to continued growth
* Fluent in Dutch and/or French, as well as in English
* Open to learning new technologies such as AI, GenAI or data analytics skills
* Someone who sees challenges as opportunities
