We are looking for a Finance Intern, for Summer 2025 to primarily support our Finance team.

About the Role
In this opportunity you will:
* Complete ad-hoc, analysis-based requests in an efficient and timely manner
* Investigate, analyze, and report on areas of interest to the finance team as directed
* Learn basic functions within an Accounting system and how they impact financial reporting
* Communicate findings through written and oral presentation
* Interact with multiple teams in a Corporate setting
* Work with a team of mentors to cultivate a positive internship experience

About You
You're a fit for the role of Business Information Analyst if you:
* Are able to work in our McLean office several days per week
* Are currently studying in a finance or business degree program
* Have a minimum GPA of 3.2
* Are at least 18 years old and meet the same employment standards as permanent employees.
* Are able to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
* Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Are able to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
* Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Have excellent oral and written communication skills
* Can develop formal presentations in a professional manner
* Have intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office suite
* Can work both independently and as part of a team
* Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information
* U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $7,626 - $7,627. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
