About the Role:

(COMPANY NAME) Luxembourg HQ is seeking a dedicated IT Software Asset Contract Manager Assistant Intern to join the Group IT team.

In this role, you will support the IT Software License Manager in overseeing and managing IT contracts for software and hardware assets within the organization. You will assist in contract negotiations, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and help optimize the value derived from IT contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

Covering this position, you will assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all IT asset contracts, including software licenses, hardware purchases, and service agreements. You will support in aligning contract management strategies with organizational objectives and IT Governance policies.

You will also help negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors and service providers to maximize value and minimize risk. You will monitor contract performance, ensuring all parties fulfill their contractual obligations. You will also assist in managing contract renewals, extensions, and terminations, ensuring timely decision-making and execution.

Moreover, you will collaborate with the IT Software Asset Manager and IT Hardware Asset Manager to ensure contract provisions meet the organization's software and hardware needs. Your role extends to analyzing contract-related data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvement.

Together with the team, you will ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Additionally, you will help develop and implement processes and policies for effective contract management, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Furthermore, you will work with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, legal, and IT, to ensure a cohesive approach to asset management. Lastly, you will provide regular reports to senior management on contract status, compliance, and performance metrics.

Who we are looking for:

You will bring knowledge from a degree in Business Administration, Law, IT, or a related field.

An understanding of IT asset management principles, best practices, IT Governance frameworks and compliance requirements will prove valuable.

You will demonstrate the ability to be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Lastly, you will succeed in this role thanks to your ability to work independently and as part of a team, complemented by your strong negotiation and communication skills.
