* Model Training and Optimization: Train and fine-tune cutting-edge deep learning models tailored for complex radio communication tasks in 5G and emerging 6G wireless networks.
* Innovation and Experimentation: Develop and propose novel techniques to enhance the performance, robustness, and efficiency of AI models applied to wireless communication scenarios.
* Literature Review and Adaptation: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements by thoroughly assessing the latest methods from academic and industrial research, and identifying opportunities to adapt them for wireless network challenges.
* Specialized Learning and Mastery: Dive deep into the 5G radio protocol stack, with a focus on mastering higher-layer functionalities and understanding their role in modern wireless networks

Candidate Requirements:

* Advanced Academic Standing: You are currently in the final year of a master's program or pursuing a PhD in telecommunications, signal processing, electronics, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
* Wireless Communications Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of wireless communication systems, with at least basic exposure to 5G networks and their architectural principles.
* Python Proficiency: Proven experience in Python programming, with the ability to develop efficient, robust, and scalable code.
* Machine Learning Foundations: Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, including supervised learning, loss functions, and dataset preparation. Experience with popular ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn) is a plus.
* Problem-Solving Enthusiasm: A passion for tackling complex technical challenges through a blend of analytical thinking and innovative approaches.
Preferred/Bonus Skills (Optional):
* Experience with natural language processing (NLP) models or large language models (LLMs).
* Knowledge of performance optimization in machine learning workflows.
* Familiarity with protocol layers in mobile networks (e.g., RAN, RRC, or NAS).
* Understanding of data handling for log or trace analysis in wireless systems.
* Experience in scripting and automation tools for data preprocessing or evaluation.
* Strong mathematical background in optimization, statistics, and algorithms
