Your role

We are looking for an intern in our Global Family and Institutional Wealth (GFIW) Team in Paris having the following responsibilities and tasks

* close collaboration with GFIW bankers to provide a high-quality service to our clients
* proactive support of the team in handling complex solutions using our competencies in Investment Banking (IB / market and corporate finance), Wealth Management and Asset Management
* active support in developing business opportunities and client acquisition
* identifying clients' needs and identifying dedicated solutions within the global UBS platform to address them in accordance to our principles
* based on that, supporting senior banker in strongly focusing on the whole value chain of a product & service solution based on a holistic client advice, including direct contact to solution providers in IB, GWM, AM and all relevant control functions like Legal, Compliance, Operations, etc.
* understand sources of risks, support bankers in administrative, legal, compliance and risk related tasks

The Global Family and Individual Wealth group is a unique joint venture between UBS GWM and UBS IB. We are in the unique position to deliver highly sophisticated and individualized investment solutions to our clients family holdings, entrepreneurs and their businesses - who require both GWM services and access to IB functions, often in different countries and booking centres.

By joining the GFIW France team in Paris, you will play an important role in providing tailored customer services to clients and will work closely alongside experienced senior Relationship Managers with deep knowledge of the industry. Our combined efforts will help manage, preserve and grow our franchise sustainably.

Your expertise

* 2nd / 3rd year student in a top-ranked Business / Engineering School / Master 1, Master 2, Gap year
* Fluent in French and English
* experience in Investment banking (corporate finance and/or markets), Asset management or Wealth Management required
* strong interest in financial and capital markets comprising all asset classes
* you are proactive and come up with own ideas
* you are able to analyse a problem, take a view and come to a decision
* self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment
* you like to serve clients and you are able to handle different customer needs
* you are a strong team player and love a collaborative dynamic environment
