Context ? Havana Club International S.A. (HCI) is a joint venture established in 1993 between the Cuban company Cuba Ron S.A., and the French Pernod Ricard Group with the goal of developing the Havana Club brand internationally via Pernod Ricard's strong international distribution network and distribute in the Cuban market Pernod Ricard portfolio. ? Since 1994, Havana Club has been a priority brand for Pernod Ricard, and today it is one of the Group's Strategic International Brands. ? Havana Club is the number three international rum brand in the world outside the US and the worldwide leader in super premium and above rums. Havana Club reached 4.6 million cases in 2019 and ranked twenty-third in the Impact Top 100 (2017). The company is based in Havana and exports to over 120 countries, excluding the US, where Cuban products are banned due to the trade embargo. Job purpose ? In order to support its global growth, Havana Club International S.A. is looking for a VIE, reporting to the Head of Finance, to be responsible for COGS P&L line, new products COGS definition, Manufacturing Variance follow up, inventories monitoring, as well as KPIs of the whole operations' value chain (transportation, raw material impacts, production costs). ? The VIE will be involved in strategic projects to optimize costs and operational workflows. Main tasks and responsibilities: 1. FINANCIAL REPORTING (50%) ? You will be in charge of Havana Club product costing ('standard cost'): computation, explanation of key build-up assumptions. ? You will be responsible for analysis of actual costs and variances vs. 'standard costs'' ('manufacturing variances') ? You will be responsible for computation of the rolling forecast costs and manufacturing variances. ? You will be responsible for reporting Havana Club's COGS P&L lines into Group tool ? You will be in charge of monitoring dry goods, bulk and finished goods inventories with the support of the supply chain team ? You will be the finance key contact for business cases related to operations topics, to ensure value creation (new product development, cost efficiency initiatives…) 2. OPERATIONS CONTROLLING (30%) ? You will lead presentations to Pernod Ricard Headquarters team (Operations performance, Standard costs, Strategic cash…) ? You will lead operations performance KPIs reporting ? You will collaborate with Cuban teams to work on industrial topics and problematics 3. OTHERS MISSIONS (10%) ? You will help with preparation of the finance section boards and shareholders meeting ? You will be a strong support to implement Finance Transformation strategy in Cuba ? You will prepare financial supports for management ? You will contribute to the annual review by external auditors
Candidate Requirements:
What: Accurate monthly COGS/ Manufacturing Variance monitoring. Same for rolling forecast. Good understanding and knowledge of all P&L items Building of relationships with other departments in Cuba or in Paris How: Ability to explain and analyse Rigor and discipline Strong adaptation skills Collaboration with all departments SKILLS REQUIRED ? Analytical mindset is required ? Adaptation and multitasking skills to evolve in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities ? Proficiency with all IT tools (Excel, reporting tool, Power BI…) ? Ability to anticipate and to respect tight deadline. Hard worker ? Self-motivated and result oriented You have a 1 or 2 years experience in Finance as a business analyst with exposure to operations or reporting process
