Description:

The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

* Responsible for supporting operational Leads and Supplier management specialist with projects, reporting and additional tasks as described below:

* Reporting- Conducts data processing in SAP i.e. running weekly and daily reports

* Training Documents- Ensure training documents and department website are up-to -date

* Reporting- Conducts data processing in SAP i.e. running weekly and daily parts availability reports

* Support and implements supplier interface

* Training Documents- Ensure training documents and department website are up-to -date

* Process Improvements as described in VPS Department activities.

* Run out process improvement

* Launch and Onboarding of new supplier process alignment with Central Competence

Qualifications:

* Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)

* Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

* Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.

* Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).

* Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

* MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

* Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

* Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, International Business, Marketing or similar.

* Basic knowledge of automotive industry and in project management.

* Teamwork, self-initiative, proactive, assertiveness and good communication skills.

* Ability to create reports, charts, and presentations with Office tools. (Good skills with excel and Power Point).
