Beschreibung:
The student, will help to develop an ultra-low voltage (down to 0.2-0.3V) and low power oscillator using dynamic leakage suppression cell for energy harvester and for wakeup radio. Moreover, help to further enhance performance to configure the oscillator with DTMOS architecture.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
* Design an ultra low power/ low supply voltage oscillator
* Explore the current literature of suitable design to meet the specifications required
* Define design architecture and propose concepts to meet the targeted requirements
* Be responsible for transistor level design and implementation with our CMOS process
* Perform circuit simulation & verification to prove that the transistor level design works accordingly to specification
Internship learning outcomes:
* Gain valuable industrial experience with in-depth technical considerations of critical aspects in design and layout
* Develop a better understanding in trading off key parameters to identify an architecture that is best suited for the application
* Develop decision-making and critical thinking skills, increased confidence and self-esteem
* Gain understanding of the role and responsibility of an IC designer
* Strengthen fundamental analog know-how to be equipped for a future IC design position
Ihr Profil:
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:
* Pursuing a Master's degree student in the field of Engineering/IC Design with relevant basic analog IC design know-how and experience
* Proficient in Cadence software and Analog simulator like Spectre
* Familiarity with Matlab, VHDL and Verilog programming is an advantage
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to commit for at least 6 months, candidates who can commit to up to 9 months are welcome
