SEB's division Large Corporates and Financial Institutions (LC&FI) offers talented students an exciting opportunity to work with banking and finance for ten weeks. If you have the ambition, we will support you in growing your potential at SEB this summer!

The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction week where you get to know SEB as an employer but also LC&FI as a division. During the introduction you will meet representatives from the division and participate in learning and networking activities. We end the internship with a closing day where we catch up and share about your experience. As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. What you will do
The Financial Strategy team is a product agnostic, specialist unit within Corporate Banking, Large Corporates & Financial Institutions, undertaking strategic advisory projects primarily towards both Large and Mid-sized corporate clients in our main segments. We provide cutting-edge advisory within our main advisory areas; Capital Structure, Credit Ratings and ESG Advisory. In this role you will have the opportunity to explore all of them and contribute to the constant development of our key capabilities.

This position will physically be located in Stockholm, and you will be part of the global Financial Strategy team with approximately 35 professionals located across our offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Oslo and Warsaw.

This position will offer an opportunity where you will:

* Contribute to further developing and sharing our Advisory offerings and knowledge

Are you interested in supporting our customers with cutting-edge advice on; How large their debt capacity is? What is the optimal capital structure in an M&A scenario? How could they optimize their working capital & liquidity situation? How would a obtain a credit rating? How to best manage the financial impact of the sustainability transition on their businesses? Advise customers on how they can communicate the financial values of their sustainability strategy? Manage the strategic discussions of setting KPIs for sustainable finance products like sustainability-linked loans?

Who are you?
We are looking for effective team players with great financial analytical skills and the passion and willingness to expand your knowledge and develop within the ESG advisory field. You should have a creative and innovative mindset, eagerness for learning and a collaborative nature. You need to be well organized and able to work with several projects simultaneously together with colleagues in different countries and feel empowered by driving and presenting world class advice.

As an intern - you need to be good at simplifying what is complex, making use of excellent technical skills with Excel and PowerPoint. You have one year left of university studies in, Financial Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar after finishing this internship. A willingness to continue part-time and a keen interest in sustainability would be a plus.
