Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Elevation Centre / Markham Elevation Centre 3 times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].

The Role:
General Motors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Digital Performance Media Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in digital marketing, data analysis, and understanding the performance of online advertising campaigns. The Student - Digital Performance Media Analyst will assist the team in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) across various digital media channels. This role will provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital environment and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Assist in the collection and organization of data from various digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising platforms, email marketing platforms).
* Support the creation of regular performance reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing key metrics and trends.
* Help identify areas for improvement in campaign performance based on data analysis.
* Assist in the tracking and analysis of website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand user behavior and campaign effectiveness.
* Learn to analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
* Assist with competitive analysis by researching and reporting on competitor digital marketing activities.
* Support the team with ad-hoc data requests and analysis.
* Contribute to the documentation of processes and best practices related to media performance analysis.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and media analytics.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on campaign performance and strategy.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* Strong interest in digital marketing, advertising, and data analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with data manipulation and basic formulas is a plus).
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to organize and manage data effectively.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
