IT Retail Application Intern

The candidate will join the ICT Team, located in Milan, and will be responsible for supporting the IT Retail Application Team, with a focus on managing the Retail application for the entire Retail Network.
Main Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Retail Application Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of our retail applications. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in retail technology and IT support, contributing to the smooth operation of our retail systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Application Support: Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to retail applications, including POS (Point of Sale) systems, inventory management software, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
* System Maintenance: Help maintain and update retail software applications, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning optimally.
* User Training: Provide basic training and support to retail staff on the use of various applications and systems.
* Data Management: Assist in data entry, analysis, and reporting to support retail operations and decision-making.
* Project Assistance: Participate in IT projects aimed at improving retail application functionality and user experience.
* Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.
* Collaboration: Work closely with IT team members, retail staff, and other departments to understand and address their application needs.
Key requirements
* Currently pursuing a degree in management, economics and industrial engineering, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of retail applications, databases, and IT support principles. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
