Financial Planning & Analysis - Intern (m/f/d)
Passionate about finance and ready to make your mark? Join us as an Intern in our Finance team! From day one, you'll be entrusted with exciting projects, giving you the chance to shine and make meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.You will also play a key role in supporting the development of the company's financial and operational business model, finance analytics that drives strategic decision-making and best-in-class stakeholder reporting.
You will:
* Prepare and deliver financial reports for management, shareholders, and the board, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Develop and maintain Excel dashboards to track and analyse financial and commercial data
* Contribute to planning and forecasting cycles through detailed financial modelling and analysis
* Build and refine financial models within Pigment to support strategic decision-making
* Conduct in-depth analysis of planning cycle data, identifying key trends and insights
* Drive process improvements in financial reporting, including closing activities, updating Excel tools, and refining Pigment and PowerPoint presentations
* Automate dashboards and cohort analysis to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making efficiency
* Ensure the accuracy and quality of commercial data, including Assets Under Management (AUM) and related metrics
* Analyse data across various dimensions to identify inconsistencies and correct errors, ensuring reliable insights
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data integrity and reporting processes
The next Moonfarian:
* Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
* Degrees with data science modules are a plus
* Experience in data analysis, with prior internships in fintech startups, investment banking, private equity, or consulting being a plus
* Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting cycles, business KPIs, and business models
* Shows exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
* Exhibits a positive mindset, team-oriented approach, and solution-focused attitude are essential
* Has a hands-on mentality with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong data analysis skills, along with experience with tools like Tableau, SQL, PowerQuery, and financial planning software (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan) is highly advantageous
* Fluency in English is required
* Fluency in any other languages is a plus
Salary: 2,200EUR per month

To be eligible for this position you should:
* Have at least six months of availability.
* Have a valid Visa/Work Permit.
* Be based in Berlin. (Relocation support is not available)
