BU Cluster Lead - Catalog Product Data Management
Job Description
Demonstrable experience in implementing, leading, and advising on data management for a commercial catalog across multiple businesses. Highly skilled in people leadership for mid-sized teams, adept at managing multiple senior stakeholders with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Your role:
* Organize and coordinate the work of the catalog data management teams across the assigned BUs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Monitor performance metrics, assess workload distribution, and optimize resource allocation to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
* Primary contact for BU stakeholders, ensuring prompt communication and addressing needs. Collaborate with senior leaders to align business priorities with actionable plans for the catalog management teams. Handle escalations swiftly, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
* Drive process optimization and innovation in catalog management. Partner with BU leads to identify inefficiencies and implement best practices across the cluster. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
* Mentor BU leads for professional growth, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment. Conduct performance reviews and develop succession plans for key roles within the cluster.
* Collaborate with the Head of Global Data Management to align cluster objectives with organizational strategy. Provide insights based on operational data and ensure catalog management supports overall business objectives and contribute to the success of GDMA.
You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Mathematics (preferred).
* 12+ years in product or catalog data management, with 5+ years in people management.
* Your skills include extensive data and information management advisory and execution experience (logical and analytical bent of mind is a must).
* Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills.
* Skilled at simplifying complex technical concepts for senior stakeholders.
* Proven team management in shared services or matrixed environments.
* Skilled at managing geographically diverse teams and effectively leading people across different time zones, while working well with individuals from various cultures.
* Skilled at influencing and managing multiple stakeholders.
* Aligns operations with long-term business goals.
* Decisive and resilient leader, fostering collaboration and innovation while balancing team and stakeholder needs.
* Some proficiency in Salesforce.com; Qlikview, PowerBI, PowerAutomate and SAP will be advantageous.
* Extensive leadership experience & skills in people management, metric management, and stakeholder management.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
