About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fraud leader to join a global organisation highlighting a maturing fraud function. With responsibility for managing fraud risks across 16 countries, this role will address challenges linked to 891 million orders, 84 million active customers, 700,000 restaurant partners, and 175,000 couriers.
The role will shape JET's global fraud strategy, aligning it with broader business goals and driving fraud cost reductions of tens of millions of Euros over the next three years. Collaboration with the Global Fraud Director and senior managers in Risk & Governance, Fraud Analytics, and Fraud Operations is key, and the role also involves deputising for the Global Fraud Director as needed.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
* Leading the definition, documentation, and building out of a global "total cost of fraud" approach to managing fraud. This will involve using expert fraud and risk management knowledge skills developed in mature industries.
* Continually monitoring risk exposure changes across all fraud types, industry evolution, and regulatory landscape changes to ensure the JET fraud strategy remains robust and relative. You will be well connected across the fraud industry and be seen as a thought leader on managing fraud losses and customer experience.
* Evangelising the work that the fraud function does and managing key relationships with business stakeholders and vendors. This will be delivered at Director level and above across JET using proven negotiation and presentation skills. You will have responsibility for increasing the fraud knowledge and understanding across the whole of the JET business.
* Being able to educate key stakeholders and manage difficult discussions around the need for fraud management controls - you will be able to take data insight and explain the risk exposure that a particular business area may have and need actioning. You will be able to negotiate solutions that meet the business needs but also effectively manage fraud risk.
* Driving a continuous improvement ethos for fraud KPIs across technical solutions, processes, fraud costs & losses, and customer experience. You will be able to explain complex fraud scenarios simply and in a way that Management Board level colleagues can quickly understand.

What will you bring to the table?
* A passion for fraud and operational risk - you should evangelise the need to manage fraud effectively by using operational risk frameworks.
* Proven experience in managing fraud and risk in a relevant industry (marketplaces, merchants, acquirers, financial institutions)
* Excellent data trend analysis skills - significant experience in developing and overseeing KPIs and KRIs and managing the financial fraud losses for an organisation. This will also include budget management experience.
* Degree level candidates preferred however applicable experience is the most important attribute.
* Experience working alongside technical risk management teams - risk and control assessments and policy management.
* A strong working knowledge of key fraud management technology and services.
* A proven ability to take risk based decisions and be able to inspire a high performing team.
* Previous line management experience - while this role does not have direct reports, you will be the senior resource driving fraud performance along two fraud performance and change leads.
* Excellent workload, stakeholder & Programme management skills
