Job Title: Design Apprentice - Jewelry & Hardware

New York, NY

Primary Purpose: The Design Apprentice for Jewelry & Hardware is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and developing fashion driven designs that are reflective of the creative vision and brand aesthetic. You will be part of a dynamic, creative environment where you will collaborate with talented designers and cross-functional partners in the business.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in jewelry & hardware design to...

* Uphold design integrity, quality execution and creativity throughout the entire creative process, putting technical specs and design approval of production pieces

* Be an expert on raw materials to re-imagine construction and design for collections

* Work closely with internal partners and cross functional partners to ensure successful commercialization of product and cohesive cross strategy story telling

* Work closely with cross functional partners to brainstorm and develop solutions to optimize samples and products

* Bring high level of creativity, attention to detail, and efficiency while working under tight deadlines of both mainline and outlet

* Supervises research on concepting and develops sketches based on concepts; put together comprehensive tech packs.

The accomplished individual will possess...

* 0-2 years of jewelry and/ or hardware design experience

* Full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of 3D modeling

* Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build strong interpersonal relationships
