Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications :

* Engineering degree / Master's degree in economics/finance
* A double degree would be a plus

Technical skills :
* 1st experience in Asia expected (internship, university exchange, job) with cross-disciplinary skills
* Knowledge of economics, finance, engineering
* Good analytical skills

Computing skills :
* Proficient in Microsoft Office : Excel, Powerpoint
* Knowledge in Power BI

Languages :

* English: level C1/C2
* French: level C1

In a dynamic and fast-changing environment, we are looking for a VIE Analyst to join our energy strategy team in Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to work on key issues related to the energy transition.
The main tasks will be as follows:
1/ Competitive intelligence :
- Carry out continuous monitoring of the Malaysian energy market, identifying trends, key players and innovations.
- Analyze competitors' strategies and assess their impact on the market.
2/ Opportunity Analysis:
- Conducting in-depth market research to identify development opportunities in the renewable and low-carbon energy sector.
- Assess government policies and local initiatives that could influence the energy sector.
3/ Putting together project study files:
- Working with in-house teams to develop project briefs for low-carbon projects, incorporating technical, economic and environmental analysis.
- Participate in the preparation of presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.

Context & Environment

The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates and will be granted an accommodation allowance by the affiliate.
