Join our teams mobilized to meet the challenge of accelerating electrification! At the heart of electric mobility, Valeo Power brings together expertise in thermal management systems and propulsion systems. This division develops innovations that contribute to the mobility of tomorrow by reducing pollutant emissions and maximizing vehicle autonomy. The site of Kohnan based in Japan belongs to Power Division. We are looking for a VIE Injection process engineer for 12 months within the team. Your challenges? - You maintain quality standards on all products to ensure manufacturing with zero defect methodology including process documentation required - You will identify lean continuous improvement on cycle time times, change over, scraps, quality, material cost reduction to existing process related to current product lines with regard to the cost, quality, design - You will work on plastic part manufacturing according to the specifications in order to meet the requirement of quality, cost and delivery time for the site - You will set-up machine for production on mono and bi-injection molding machines. Operate overhead crane - You will provide support on new product launch tooling and process at each milestone through production, providing the manufacturing and engineering inputs for development of new process, parts and tooling - You will lead the process design and approval according to the Valeo standards & Procedure - You will identify lean & continuous improvement to existing process and tooling related to current product lines with regard to the cost, quality, and/or design - You will define and optimize molding process window, apply auto quality with standard tolerances and also develop and modify robot programs to handle parts without causing damage to the equipment, parts - You lead daily operation of your perimeter in molding APU such as continuous, improvement, mold setting & debugging, start-up, processing, troubleshooting and problem solving in respect to the objectives assigned by the APU Manager, and spend most of time on the shop floor - You identify lean continuous improvement on cycle time times, change over, scraps, quality, material costreduction to existing process related to current product lines with regard to the cost, quality, design

Ihr Profil:

Let's talk about you… - You are graduated from a Engineering degree in this field Ideally, you already have experience in this field - You have a fluent level of English - Japanese language would be an asset - You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking - You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy - An automotive experience is a plus Please, don't forget to apply in English to facilitate the process with our managers.
