Founded in 1880 Niels Brock's name commemorates Niels Brock, a wealthy merchant who was one of the founders of the Danish vocational business education movement. The founders intended to provide vocational education for young self-made business men. Today Niels Brock gives high priority to internationalisation of education.
The school engages actively in student exchange and it permanently hosts visiting teachers from abroad. Niels Brock's determination to ensure opportunities for its own students to study abroad, is matched by a willingness to attract and cater for foreign students as well. In addition to
international programmes especially designed for international students, an increasing number of courses are offered in English.
